On a rainy day, I stopped at this cozy little cafe at Hyanggyo-ro, half way from Suwon Station to Hwaseong Fortress. The barista is friendly and nice.

The owner is incredibly nice and speaks great English! He loves to greet my two shibas when we walk by daily! He has an incredible salted vienna coffee. Im not a huge hot coffee person unless its back home in ny straight black but his signature is amazing. 10/10

After a really poor experience at a local restaurant, we were feeling quite low about our day trip to Suwon. So we slipped into this quaint, corner coffee shop for a cappuccino and espresso. The barista was exceptionally friendly and patient with us, especially given our poor Korean language skills, and the coffee was excellent. He asked first before assuming we wanted cinnamon or sugar, he served us on the patio, and he was candid in explaining the Winston Churchill photograph on the bathroom door (hint: the great English leader's furrowed face reflects the work one undertakes on a toilet). Anyway, Pleroma was what a coffee shop should be: high taste, low stress. I would definitely come back here, and often, if I lived in Suwon. We are very grateful for the kind service... and, actually, right when we needed it most. Much obliged.

Excellent coffee and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Very cozy inside and it is usually not very crowded. Much better than all the franchise shops around

This is a unique place. Obviously, it's not a chain. Friendly batista who made my Americano with care and it was done just right. He didn't even charge me for the extra expresso shot. Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We sat in the corner and enjoyed our morning.

Super cute coffee shop with a really kind owner and a cozy vibe. The green tea milk was delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable.

Now I this is my favorite cafe in Suwon and among the top in my list of cafes I like in Korea. The owner is very nice and puts a lot of care into his coffee and food, as he also makes the food in case himself! Atmosphere is super cozy, warm and welcoming with all the wood structures a furniture. It’s a great place to go to relax and hang out with friends. It’s got that neighborhood cafe atmosphere many dream of finding. My favorites are the Pleroma Drip and Salt Vienna. The drip has a nice aroma with smooth mouth feel and medium light body with a light acidity, notes of nuts and berries, and ending notes of caramelized sugar. The salt Vienna also has a nutty flavor with a light creaminess to complement it that has a further enhanced flavor with the added salt. It’s a more unique but lovely flavor that sort of reminds a little of gingerbread, but at the same time pretzels due to the larger salt bits that I enjoy crunching on. Do try the chocolate cake, it goes very well with the coffee. It’s dense, rich, and has nuts!

Great cozy place, even though menu was entirely in Korean, the owner was very helpful with translating it to us. Coffee and tea was great as well.
